Brad's Journal entry:

"Another day completed.  The morning was brilliant.  We climbed out of Danaque to a trail high above valley.  It afforded ever increasingly stunning views of Manaslu.  With every half hour came a new picture in wait.  We met another trekker Andrew from Chicago.  He was hiking with his guide and porter.....The high trail averted some landslides that are a bit unstable.  We took a brief break a Thanchok and Jen gave some candy to some villagers.  Another half hour we were in Koto at the police check post.  By now the peaks of the Annapurnas were coming into view.  At every turn I wonder how there can be a more beautiful scene and then you walk some more, only to find another.  Today had a lot of ups and downs and ups again which left us a bit knackered at the end.  But we still arrived here by 12:45pm.  A lunch of noodle soup, cornbread, and hot lemon and we were set.  Later in the afternoon it began to rain and is still raining now.  I am sure this means snow up high.  We may be in a the first innings of wait a see game destined for overtime.  Ineecha (everything is changing).  At least we are here and have some extra time.  What will be will be.  I spent some time talking with Andrew while Jen read in the room.  Tonight we are paying 30 rupees (.40 cents) for the room.  At this rate we could stay her another month.  Tomorrow it will be Pisang.  Life is good!"

Another beautiful rest spot and interaction with the villagers too!  Jen gives them some candy....they must need a dentist after all the trekkers go through!
Jen handles the formalities of the check post.  There were about 3 check points on this of the Annapurnas.  The guys could hardly move fast enough to get in the shot.
Another stunning shot to start the day of trekking.
