Gun-Control Related Fatalities:

A lot is heard about how many deaths can be attributed to firearms. While these statistics are usually quite skewed, including things like defensive use of a fire arm by police and private citizens, the real question is this, how many people have died as a direct result of gun-control? And the answer might shock you:

Germany established gun control in 1938. From 1939 to 1945 some
13 million Jews, gypsies, mentally ill persons and other "mongrelized peoples" lost their lives in Nazi death camps. (Law on Firearms and Ammunition, 4/12, Weapons Law 5/18)

The Soviet Union established gun control in 1929. From 1929 to 1953, some
20 million political dissidents, were put to death. (Article 182, penal code)

Turkey established gun control in 1911. From 1915 to 1917,
1.5 million Armenians, were exterminated. (Article 166, penal code)

China established gun control in 1935. From 1945 to 1952,
20 million political dissidents, were put to death. (Articles 186-7, Penal Code, Article 9 of Securtiy Law)

Cambodia established gun control in 1956. From 1975 to 1977,
1 million "educated people" were slaughtered. (Articles 322-8, Penal Code)

Even more alarming is the fact that the above is by no means a complete list. That thousands upon thousands more have died around the world following the introduction of strict gun control legislation, but regrettably, we couldn't fit it all in.
