While Clinton and the democrats maintain that there is no danger in China assuming control of the Panama Canal, common sense tells us otherwise. Either the Chinese are getting far more sloppy since Clinton took power, or they have begun to intesifying their efforts on America since that time. I would say the latter is more likely.
These same socialist (communist) politicians then go on to say that control of the Panama canal is not vital to U.S. security. Really?
Consider what Henry L. Stimson, former secretary of war had to say in 1913, "The control of the Panama Canal is far more important to our national security than is the control of the Kiel Canal to that of Germany, or the Suez Canal to that of Great Britain. Its protection is more essential than the protection of any part of our coast or any of our seaports, however important, because it is the key to the protection of many seaports and thousands of miles of coast-line." |
