The Collapse of The American Union:

Did communism really die? Are democracy and freedom the reigning influences in today's world? In a word....no. And why exactly should we think otherwise? Because the press tells us its so....?

In June 1990, Gorbachev told Time magazine a different story than you would ever hear in the popular press. He was quoted as saying, "Often people ask where we are going whether we are retreating from socialism or moving toward socialism. One point... is to make good on the potential of the socialist idea. The very fact I am saying this is further proof that I am a convinced socialist. I am a communist. I'm sure that doesn't make you too enthusiastic, but it shouldn't make you panic either. It's quite normal. As we dismantle the Stalinist system, we are not retreating from socialism but are moving toward it."

Two points about that statement: #1. he uses the terms socialism and communism interchangeably, proving that in the minds of the communist they refer to the same thing, and #2. he proclaims that he is a communist.
The father of democracy in Russia? I hardly think so.

Every nation on this globe is moving towards more left of center political systems. In the European Union alone, thirteen out of the fifteen countries are governed by a center-left (socialist-minded) administration, or by a coalition that includes the center-left. (The European, 6/11/97.)

The European goes on to say, "The European Union is moving toward a single currency." And, "it was senior socialist politicians above all, Francois Mitterand and Jaques Delors - who drew up the single currency blue print in the first place."

Communism is more than alive; it is flourishing, and owes a great deal of its expansion into the U.S. to President Bill Clinton and his allies...
