| Here is what we can do for you: - Aluminum(or aluminium) sport fishing boats. We specialize in designing for aluminum; all plates are completely developable( no lofting or trimming is necassary; it is more boat assembly than boat building - all you need is good working knowledge of welding aluminum. Simple assembly drawings are provided. Some of the designs may be available in kit form. All our major hull structures are designed and calculated to conform or exceed the requirements of ABS(American Bureau of Shipping). - Custom design. We offer custom marine design services and naval architectural assistance, helping inspired individuals realize their dream boat project. - We do our computer modeling using MULTISURF and SURFACEWORKS( partner to SOLIDWORKS) - the leading parametric marine design software, based on relational geometry. - We can prepare computer files for CNC material cutting; in short, we will take it from napkin sketch to a crate of parts ready for assembly. - Other materials; Although we believe that aluminum is a great boat building material, we can also design for steel, FRP, or wood. - Kitboats. Some of our designs can be provided as a kit, for either an amateur assembly or large number production by a professional. Those kits will differ in complexity. | At Conrad Yachts, we have accumulated in excess of 20 years of experience in all facets of boating and boat building. Over 25,000 nautical miles of open ocean sailing on small(40'-60') sailing yachts, seven years of hands-on boat building and repair, finaly, ten years of boat design, including computer design using leading marine design software. The above experience and formal education credentials from one of the best known in the industry yacht design schools in the U.S. gives us confidence that our boats not only behave predictably and safely on the water, but also are designed with ease of construction and service in mind. |
