| Conrad Yachts offers marine computer design services: from concept design to CNC cutting files. * We use MULTISURF, an advanced 3D surface modeling software, to create the vessel and evaluate its hydrostatics. * A realistic looking rendering and/or animation can be produced at this time to help visualize and judge the mechanics and aesthetics of the project. * Now is the time for adjusting and tweaking of the details. Multisurf is based on relational geometry, which means that changes can be easily done to the completed model. * After final adjustments are completed, appropriate data is extracted from the model, depending on the material and method of construction. * Paper lines and construction drawings as well as CNC cutting files (for metal boats) are then produced. |
