Sarmon is perhaps the most powerful telepath ever born on Titan. As an infant, his telepathic cries caused the death of many of the people near him until he was calmed by another powerful Titanian named Aven. The titanian government decided to sequester Sarmon in a holding cell deep below the surface of Titan with a helmet that dampened his dangerous abilities and he has matured with only the company of computers, which have been his teachers, and occasional visits from Aven. Saturn Girl is Sarmon's cousin.
In an alternate timeline, Sarmon learned of the cult leader Brother Blood, whom he convinced to free him and together they began a campaign to completely subjugate the entire UP. Their plans were thwarted by the combined team-work of the Legion and the Titans, a group of 20th-century heroes who had been in suspended animation for 1,000 years. Saturn Girl and Omen were able to prevent the alternate timeline by sending a tele-pathic message to the Titans in the past which prevented the events that led to Sarmon's escape. |
