The daughter of a Xanthu industry tycoon, Candi mutated into an enlarged green creature after she was caught int the explosion of a gene-bomb that was meant for her father. She joined the Uncanny Amazers and later left to join the Legion after assisting them in the battle with Mordru. Contrary to her appearance, she was a very caring and likable person who always put the needs of others before her own. She was well-liked and friends with most of her fellow Legionnaires but had a very close friendship with Element Lad, who had altered her skin pigment to become orange.
Candi possessed immense strength and invulnerability. Her strength increased during rushes of high adrenaline.
Candi was among the group of Legionnaires that was "Lost" in an uncharted galaxy for a year. She was casually murdered by her close friend, Jan Arrah -the Progenitor, shortly before her team-mates escaped back to UP space. |
