> Colossal Boy and Shrinking Violet, being impersonated by Yera, secretly wed.
> Chameleon Boy and R.J. Brande return to Durla to repair their relationship and Chameleon regains his shape-changing abilities.
> Karate Kid and Queen Projectra get married.
> The Legion discovers the replacement of Shrinking Violet by Yera and rescues her from captivity on Imsk. Colossal Boy believes Yera's pleas that she did not know the true condition of Shrinking Violet and remains married to her.
> Dawnstar takes a leave of absence from the team to tour the galaxy in search of her future mate, but ends her quest in the company of Wildfire and determines that he is her predestined mate.
> Saturn Girl gives birth to a son. In actuality, twin sons were born but one was secretly kidnapped by Darkseid and transformed as it was sent into the past to become the Fatal 5 member, Validus.
> THE LEGION OF SUPER-VILLAINS <A new version of the Legion of Super-Villains bands together under the leadership of Nemisis Kid with the promise of killing at least one Legionnaire each. They set up their base on the planet of Orando and steal several fusion power-spheres and the Earth's polymer shield in their plans to shift the entire planet of Orando into another dimension. The LSV kidnap Light Lass from Winath, capture Karate Kid and Queen Projectra on their return from their honeymoon and are able to capture several Legionnaires while acquiring the polymer shield and then imprison all of their captives in a dungeon on Orando. Light Lass escapes after being attacked by Lightning Lord because she would not join him and stows away on a ship in which several members of the LSV are going to attack more Legionnaires. After finding that her Lightning powers have returned and disabling the LSV members on the ship, she returns to Orando and helps the captured Legionnaires, who have escaped, battle the LSV. During the battle, Nemisis Kid critically wounds Karate Kid in hand-to-hand combat and Karate Kid sacrifices his life in an attempt to disable the power-sphere device that surrounds Orando. The tide of battle turns against the LSV and Queen Projectra executes Nemisis Kid in retaliation for killing her husband. After recovering from the battle and a funeral service for Karate Kid, Queen Projectra officially resigns from the Legion and Orando leaves UP space.
> Five Legionnaires, that were stranded in Limbo when Orando left UP space, discover an uninhabited planet that is producing Sun-Eaters at the command of a Controller and destroy the planet before returning to Earth.
> The Legion prevents a resurgence of the Dark Circle and discovers that many members of the group are clones of five individuals from various worlds. They had also been using clones of the Daxamite Dev-Em to cause havoc before the clones were all merged back into the true Dev-Em by the White Witch.
> Cosmic Boy, Saturn Girl and Lightning Lad retire from active duty to act as senior advisors.
> Timbor Wolf and Karate Kid's Sensei travel to the warrior-world Lythyl to carry out a request stated in Karate Kid's will, to plant a seed in the indestructible sacred stones of Lythyl. They kidnap a young boy named Myg to become the Sensei's new student as they are rescued by the Legionnaires.
> Magnetic Kid, Polar Boy, Sensor Girl, Quislet and Tellus join. Several members of the Legion spend a great deal of time trying to deduce the true identity of Sensor Girl, who wears a mask.
> The Legion investigates the murder and attempted murder of several descendents of Justice League of America members and track them back to Professor Ivo, a 20th century villain who has survived in cryogenic suspension to the 30th century.
> R.J. Brande takes on a new identity and leaves Earth to secretly search for the presumed-deceased Kid Quantum at the request of the Proteans.
> The Legion joins heroes and villains from many different time periods to aid in battling the Anti-Monitor during the Crisis on Infinite Earths.
> Cosmic Boy, Saturn Girl and Lightning Lad face the Time Trapper at the end of time after he kidnaps Saturn Girl and Lightning Lad's son. They return to their own time after refusing to fall to the Trapper's mental torture.
> The five Legionnaires who destroyed the Sun-Eater factory world are kinapped by the Controller who was manufacturing the Sun-Eater to repel the threat of the battle planet of Tyrraz, which was headed for UP space. The Legionnaires succeed in disabling the planet's propulsion system and destructive capability without harming any of its inhabitants before being returned home.
> Cosmic Boy and Night Girl take an extended vacation in the 20th century.
> The Fatal Five is reformed by the Emerald Empress with new members, including Mentalla who was rejected for Legion membership. The villains confront a small band of Legionnaires who had been searching for Mentalla, and are in danger of winning the battle until Mentalla uses her mind control powers to cause Flare to disable a satellite which prevents the Legionnaires from calling for help. The Emerald Empress murders Mentalla and reveals Sensor Girl to be Queen Projectra before Legion reinforcements arrive and they defeat the villains.
> The Teachers of Sorceror's World and the White Witch strip Mordru of his mystical powers
> Saturn Girl learns of Darkseid's transformation of her son into Validus and prays to him to return the boy to her and Lightning Lad. Darkseid, impressed with her courage and humility, grants her request.
> Star Boy resigns to become Xanthu's planetary protector after the disappearance of Atmos.
> Rond Vidar seemingly dies.
> THE UNIVERSO PROJECT <Several Legionnaires are ambushed by an unknown foe while away from Earth. Saturn Girl comes out of a mind-washed state and finds herself on an unknown world with several other heroes from throughout the galaxy, including fellow Legionnaires Brainiac 5, Dream Girl and Chameleon Boy. After she frees them from their similar condition, the four work together to free the rest of the inhabitants who then leave the world to return to their own homes. As the four Legionnaires return to Earth, they discover that it has once again been taken over by Universo. While having to battle their team-mates, the Legionnaires are finally able to defeat Universo once again.
> Saturn Girl rejoins.
> THE DEATH OF SUPERBOY <After discovering that Superboy never existed during his visit to the 20th century, Cosmic Boy leads several Legionnaires in a mission to the future to confront the Time Trapper, but they are diverted back in time to the pocket dimension Earth of Superboy. Superboy ambushes four of the Legionnaires as the others slip back into the time stream and arrive in the late 1980's of the real universe where they meet a grown Superman, who reveals to them that he has never been Superboy. The Legionnaires relate the origins of the Legion of Super-Heroes and the role that Superboy played in their group to Superman before Superboy himself arrives and attacks. He returns to Pocket Earth with the remaining Legionnaires, but when the Trapper demands that he kill them, he refuses and attacks the villain with the Legionnaires. The Time Trapper disables a machine which prevented the destruction of Pocket Earth from energies unleashed during the Crisis on Infinite Earths and escapes as Superboy uses his own body to power the machine and remove pocket Earth from danger, seriously injuring himself in the process. Superboy then helps the Legionnaires return to their own time before dying as the "Greatest Hero of Them All".
