Tellus is from a planet with a thick methane-based atmosphere which his people call Great Mother Ocean. He briefly attended the Legion Academy and was inducted into the Legion along with Sensor Girl, Quislet, Magnetic Kid and Polar Boy, when the 3 founding Legionnaires retired from active duty. He wears a helmet created to allow him to exist outside of a methane atmo-sphere.
Tellus and Quislet share the distinction of being the only non-humanoid Legionnaires in preboot continuity.
Tellus has the native Hykraian abilities of telepathy and telekinesis, but his powers are far stronger than most.
Sadly, Tellus does not exist in current Legion continuity, but he's one of my preboot favorites. |
