| "I was so delighted to be part of the audience for the final show of "Jane Eyre". I can't possibly begin to tell you how much this musical has touched my heart over the past few weeks. Since I started listening to the CD -- crying through the score before I'd ever seen the show -- and up until the final show I was just enraptured with the passion and elegance that is "Jane Eyre". I was in the center of the first row of the mezzanine for the final show and was just in awe of the beauty and grace of this amazing show. Whether it's Ms. Schaffel's incredibly talent at bringing Jane to life; Ms. Stout's humor and lightheartedness as Mrs. Fairfax; or the raw passion that is Mr. Barbour's performance as Rochester -- this was a show that moved me so much that I traveled from Virginia three times to see it. I thought Ms. Schaffel was the epitome of class with her closing remarks. Everyone at the stage door was so giving of their time and their energy. It was sad to say good-bye, but the graciousness exhibited by the cast of this show simply reiterated how amazing everyone involved with this production is." ~ D.B. Sterling, VA |
