"Not everyone that says to me: 'Lord, Lord' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven." (Mat.7:21), And "everyone who has left houses or brothers or sister or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My name�s sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life." (Mat. 19:29). I realised that until that moment I wanted my own dreams for my life, but God was offering me H�s dreams for my life. God was giving me a choice. And I knew that His dreams might be outside of Holland, might be something that I would never ever think about. But I also knew that God's dream would be the best thing for my life, after all, He was the One that created me in the first place!! So I said to God that I wanted to give up my own things to do His will. This changed everything....
in the NorthEast of Brazil. After finishing my DTS I stayed one more month to work in the streetkidsproject there, and in April 2002 I came back to Belo Horizonte to work in the Refuge House. This is a house for children infected with HIV. I really enjoyed working with the kids, doing creative things with them and showing them that even though they have been rejected by so many people, that God will never reject them and will always love them unconditionally!!! Soon after I cam back to Belo Horizonte I started a relationship with Jander and in May 2003 we got married. After this we moved back to the Northeast to work with YWAM Fortaleza in a poor community in Aquiraz. I do creative activities with the little kids, and work in the jeweleryworkshop with the teenagers. Jander and me started a discipleshipgroup for the teenagers and we also wantt to start a new group for pregnant teenagers in 2005.
