| Hello, my name is Jander and I am 27 years old. I come from a city called �Bela Vista de Minas`, about 120 km. from Belo Horizonte. In 1994 I became a christian, I have gone through a lot of difficult things in my life before that. I used to like to go out, to party, to do many wrong things. But God has really turned my life around. As a young christian I went to do a seminary. But not long before I finished the seminary, God called me to go and work with Youth With a Mission. So in 1997 I started to work as a volunteer at the Refuge House. After a short period I did my Discipleship Training School (DTS) of YWAM and for for more than 5 years I worked at the Refuge House with the children that are infected with the HIV-Aids virus. This was not always easy, in a short time a lot of children died. But it is a blessing to see how children�s lifes can get changed when they come at the Refuge House. |
