Hello welcome on our website. We would like to tell you more about us and the work that we do here in Brazil. We work for an organisation called YWAM, Youth With A Mission. YWAM is an international and interdenominational mission organisation. We both have worked at the Refuge House in Belo Horizonte, a house for children that are infected with the HIV/AIDS-virus. In 2000 Melanie came from Holland, as a volunteer to the house, she stayed for 3 months. In 2002, after having done a course in Fortaleza, she came back and soon she started a relationship with Jander. That�s when Jander, who had worked in the house since 1997, started working in another project for YWAM, called the Rescue House where they work with with streetkids. In May 2003 we got married!!
