Identify a Windows NT Server Computer that will host IIS.

In this project, it is a dedicated server to the task of providing IIS services.

Disable any WWW, FTP or Gopher servers that may be running on the IIS server.

Backup WWW or FTP content directories currently on the server.

Format the volumes to be used by IIS with NTFS.

This ensures the highest possible level of security.

If necessary, enable auditing to monitor the server for security breaches.

Set up a name resolution method.
