When we do not receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour, we have sinned and trampled upon His blood. "7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. 8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 9 Of sin, because they believe not on me." (KJV John 16:7-8) "...the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin." (KJV 1 John 1:7) "...and without shedding of blood is no remission." (KJV Hebrews 9:22) "In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace." (KJV Ephesians 1:7)
Knowingly or unknowingly, by rejecting the Lord Jesus Christ, we are being wicked. Likewise also, all who deny the existence of God and forget God, are wicked. "49 So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, 50 And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth." (KJV Matthew 13:49) It is clearly stated, "The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God." (KJV Psalms 9:17)
God condemns all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men. "18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them." (KJV Matthew 8:12)
In Hell, there shall be weeping and gnashing (grinding) of teeth. "12 But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth." (KJV Matthew 8:12)
Hell is a place where the fire shall never be quenched. The Lord Jesus Christ spoke of a rich man and a poor man, when after death, each went to his respective place. "19 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: 20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, 21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. 22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; 23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. 24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. 25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. 26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. 27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house: 28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. 29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. 30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. 31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead." (KJV Luke 16:23-31)
Fear God. Take refuge in His provision, for he has given his only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, to die in our place for our sins. If only we believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, we will not be judged by God. "And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." (KJV Matthew 10:28)
Heaven is where God is. "Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool." (KJV Acts 7:49) He will receive all those who are justified in the blood of his Son, The Lord Jesus Christ, to be with him, forever more. "That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him." (KJV Ephesians 1:10)
There is a place for every believer in heaven. Where God is, there, will he be also. "2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." (KJV John 14:2-3)
The resurrected will be like the angles. "For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven." (KJV Mark 12:25)
The redeemed will rejoice and leap for joy, for their reward are great. "Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven." (KJV Matthew 6:23)
Their inheritance is incorruptible, and undefiled and will never fade away. "But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:" (KJV Matthew 6:20) "To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you." (KJV 1 Peter 1:4)
They shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob. "And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven." (KJV Matthew 8:11)
