Christian music has touched my soul and life in so many ways. I didn't really start listening to Christian music until the beginning of my second year of college which I was beginning to attend St. Cloud State University. I started buying Christian Cd's like crazy, I could not get enough of the wonderful message that they were singing about. Christian music is now after the past two years, a huge part of my daily life. I listen to our Christian radio station here in St. Cloud whenever a radio is nearby. I listen to it at home, at work all the time and all the time in our car I drive around. I have found Christian music to be so inspiring and reminding of what we need to be doing and the struggles of life, the joys, the fears, how God loves us and helps us along in life. There are so many ways in which Christian musicians have been able to express through their music what God is to them, what he has done for us, and what he will always be no matter what we say or do. I now have a very, very large collection of Christian music by various artists. Below is a list of some of them and their official homepages.
Also is a link to Spirit 93, KKJM, the radio station that I listen to all the time. The music that God has inspired these people to write, play and sing is so amazing and life changing. If we listen to the garbage that the world puts out there on MTV, VH1 and the Box, what will be coming out of our hearts and minds is garbage. The famous saying, Garbage IN, Garbage OUT. And out from the mouth comes what is in the heart. That is somewhere in the Bible, I haven't found the exact passage yet, but I have heard it over and over on Spirit 93 on the radio. So listen to Christian music. There are so many wonderful songs out there in almost any style you could possibly enjoy. Use the songs in whatever style they are to worship the one true living God. He wants us to give Him all our praise all of the time. I love praising Jesus through song. I hope you do to, or will realize the beauty in the music from the Spirit.
