A Piece of my Heart

My Parents became missionaries when I was only 12 years old. They had a higher calling from God to go and serve Him in another country. That country is Ecuador. We lived in the capital city of Ecuador, which is Quito, and it has a population of about 1 million 700 thousand people. Many of whom do not know the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal savior and friend. Although Ecuador is a third world country, do not be fooled, there is so much more to Ecuador than just the economy. The people of Ecuador are unique, one of a kind, they have their own customs and culture. Ecuador may be one of the smallest countries in South America, but it definitely stands out above the crowd in my heart. Here is a map of Ecuador.

This is Carlos Remache from Otavalo who sells his hand made items in front of the school. |
This is a picture of the nice lady (affectionately know as the Shack lady) and her family who has a small tienda (shop) also outside in the front of the school. She sells candy, gum, pop, and other things like that. |
