Places of Note Inside the City:
Nightshade Spells and Magick - One of the largest magick shops in the land, Spells and Magick offers everything from spell books to enchanted items. Whether you are a Druid or Cleric, Sorcerer or Mage, you will find what you need here, and even if you're not pick up a lava board for kicks! Owners: The brothers Siran and Zeraph Nightshade.
Brimstone Tavern and Inn - The biggest tavern in the city, drinks are reasonably priced and range anywhere from sake to bloodwine. Single bed rooms are only 30 gc a night, Doubles are 45. Owner: Orion Hunter.
Slave Auction - If you should visit Isis in the winter keep an eye out for the Slave Auction. It usually comes during the Festival of Fools and stays the duration of the celebration. Usually with slaves numbering in the hundreds, you are almost certain to find the right type of slave for you!
Isis Library - Compared to most of the town, the library is small and virtually ignored. It does have a wide array of books on miscellaneous subjects.. though with no system of arranging them it makes what you are looking for hard to find. Owner: Currently owned by the city.
The Market - As you enter the city you step strait into the market. This is a place of bustling crowds and merchants shouting over the noise to sell their goods at makeshift stands. Throughout the area there are also groups putting on shows, be it magick or plays, to earn some quick cash. Be sure to keep an eye on your coins while watching the street performers. Those thieves have a nasty habit of pick pocketing those who have lost themselves in the sites of the shows!
Heaven in Hell - A grouping of hot springs in the north west corner of the city. For those weary travelers who want nothing more then to soak in warm water to rest there aching muscles, Heaven in Hell is the place for you! An amazingly relaxing place it is something one should not skip when visiting Isis. For those who have been injured or who are ill this place also serves as a place of healing. Though you had best have a good amount of money on hand, for it will cost you 100 gc for a day of healing and relaxation!
Sword of Steel - The cities weapon's shop. Sells daggers, swords, axes, and any other weapon made from metal. Also sells chainmail, shields, and armor. Owner: Travis Rail
Enchanted Garments - During the festivals and celebrations people often like to dress up in brightly colored costumes and Enchanted Garments is -the- place to go to have your costume custom made.
Places of Note Outside the City:
The Volcano Pits - A deep crater where a total of seven mini volcanoes stand. They erupt at least once a week at varying times and are quite a site to see if you are sitting up high on the city walls in the middle of the night. Though it will cost you a good 50 gc to bribe the wall guard to let you up there.
The Sea of Lava - Just a mile outside the city is the Sea of Lava. It is a good half a mile in length and width and is nothing but orange bubbling Lava.. If you go there late at night you will no doubt see some of the younger residents of Isis risking there lives on Lava Boards bought from Spells and Magick.
