Heartfelt Congratulations! The Rabindra Evening was a great success! Your tireless efforts and participation over the last few months have made us dream of a better life. The work before us - renovation of the pond.

There is some delay in this work, and some obstuctions. But we are not disappointed. Work must begin soon. Meanwhile direct intervention by the Jadavpur Police Station traffic department has eased the dangerous traffic situation near the telephone exchange. The ganja and liquor "stores" have disppeared.

We, the residents are grateful to the Poilce Station.

Inspector in charge of the Jadavpur Police station(This was in June 2002. The present IC(August 2003) is Sri Swapan Bagchi - an equally supportive and friendly officer), and a chief participant in the Parivesh cause, will soon be transferred elsewhere. A Felicitation Ceremony, in his farewell has been organized on the 9th of June, next Sunday at 5.00 P.M. at ...(address of one of the apartment buildings). Also, the future course of the Parivesh movement will be discussed in the presence of Police Officers and Councillors.

Dear Friend, remember those hellish days of the past? The moment we slacken our efforts those agents of the devil will consume us. Let us strengthen the foundations of the Parivesh Suraksha movement on 9th June at 5.00 P.M!
