(Page 2)
Shinjuku is supposedly the "sin city" of Tokyo. Of course we didn't see it since that happens at night and we were there in the middle of the day. We basically spent out time there at the Takashimaya Dept. Store. It's where I bought my new SANYO DMX-C1 Camera/Recorder.
Yeah, it's sold in the U.S. as a Fisher Brand. However since I got late in the trip, I didn't take much pictures with it.

Kyoto (A Side Trip Using the Bullet Train)
Okay, in Kyoto, if you exit to the South, there's basically only only temple and it's the Toj-ji Shrine. It's walking distance form the station and since we only had 3 hours in Kyoto we went there.

However, if you exit to the North there's actually a lot more temples but most you'd end up having to take the bus or taxi.
My Souvernirs (so cuuuute!)
I couldn't leave Japan without at least some little souvenir, so I picked up these wooden dolls. I picked up three since I figure they looked like the Tendo sisters (Ranma 1/2). I took this picture with my new Sanyo Camera in my living room.

One of the things we really needed to do was ride on a "Bullet Train" (Shinkansen). So we planned out a side trip to Kyoto, Japan. It is about 2 1/2 Hours by train to Kyoto but by using the Shinkansen, it was a breeze. We got to see the countryside between Tokyo and Kyoto.

Oh, since it was about lunchtime, we also bought some "ekibento" (train station lunch box) to eat on the way. There's also an attendant that goes down the aisle to sell some if you didn't buy one before getting on the train. She also has drinks.
Okay, we didn't have a map of Kyoto and we were somewhat lost in the area. Well, we saw the top of a Pagoda and headed there. On the way, we saw a Yoshinoya  (of course, silly me) and we also saw an older shrine that has been kept up, nice Torii gate though.

Also we found out what Ein (Cowboy Bebop) has been doing since the show ended. He's now a security dog for an apartment or house, Ha ha.
