TV and Movies

I have had alot of time to watch tv and movies over the years, so I thought I would put up a list of some of the tv shows and movies that have enriched my otherwise boring life. They are linked to the relevant websites as well. I'll probably add more as time goes by.

Star Wars I saw the first of the series when I was five years old. Needless to say, it made a rather big impression on me.
BattleStar Galactica I watched this alot on tv when it was on in the '70s and '80's. I linked to the revival site for the new series on sci fi channel.
Dune This was written as a book in the '60s by Frank Herbert and turned into the movie I saw in 1984. I think Frank was on drugs when he wrote it though. You'll get a better idea of what I mean if you read the book.
Buffy The Vampire Slayer This was a movie way back in '92 Link to the Movie here and it became a tv series just a few years after.
Wierd Science This was my fantasy back in '85. It kind of encouraged me to learn more about computers :)
War Games This I saw in '83 just about the same time I got my first computer. In a small way, made me thankful I wasn't a hacker.
Friends Yes I like this show. Heck I didn't have any friends of my own...so it let me dream and laugh alot.
Lois And Clark: The New Adventures of Superman This show I watched alot. Yeh I know, its sappy romance but it was funny too and I always wished I could be superman.
CasaBlanca Hey, its a classic. I only just saw this a couple years ago.
The Apartment This is a great movie in my opinion. It shows the difference between body and soul love. You'll get what I mean if you watch it.
The Last Samurai This Movie is about believing in yourself. all I have to say I think.
Shogun Mini Series way back in '80. I saw it maybe eight years later as a rerun. Good way to learn about japanese culture and society.
