This site has the purpose of documenting LPs and CDs which have been commercially released with rare Clash music. Here you will find cover scans, label scans, release information, track lists, and all known information about variations of each title. I have listed below all of the titles known to me. Follow a link for details on that title. Titles in red I don't have data for yet. Those in blue italics I do have data for, but I do not own the record, so it may be incomplete. If you would like to provide scans and information for a title in red I would be glad to post it. Better yet, if you would like to trade something to me that I don't have I can offer selections from my collection of live CDRs and tapes by many bands.

I am but a simple collector and honestly do not know one person involved in the manufactuer of any of these. Please don't ask where to get something or if I have something for sale because other than to scour your local used record bins I have no advice.

  • Records in blue I have a copy of and information is complete.
  • Records in blue italics I need a copy of, but I have some information available for them.
  • Records in red I need a copy of, and don't have yet have any information listed.

Thanks to John Shipley's listing of his collection and "The Clash Retrospective" for help in compiling these pages. Also, many thanks to fellow collectors Adam Headland, Takahiko Abe, Geoff Martin, Giuseppe Rivela, and Nobuyuki Ueno, who have all aided me immensely in tracking down some hard to find records.

CD-R Releases: Small Scale and Homemade

I have discontinued listings here. It doesn't take much to make a CDR from one of the above or from a live show acquired in trading circles, slap together some artwork on a computer and print out a cover, and then list it for sale on Ebay. It happens all the time. You can get some great music this way, but with a little work it probably also could be acquired for free (start in alt.music.clash or Satch's boards). These homemade releases have little or no collectors value (big deal, huh) and are impossible to keep up with anymore. If the collectable nature of these records is of interest, be assured that all of the above are "real" bootlegs (which means they are silver CDs or vinyl, or CDRs with professional packaging and more extensive manufacturing and distribution than dumping a few onto online auctions.) If they are not listed here it doesn't mean they aren't "real" bootlegs, but beware if spending a lot of money.
