CARDIFF '77 AND K.B.F.H. BROADCAST '78
12" SINGLE LP
- Reference number: none
- 2002 Japanese release
- Partial shows from July 15, 1977 and
February 14, 1979
- Venues: De Montfort Hall, Leicester
and The Agora, Cleveland
- Sound Rating:
- Vinyl: Black
- Variations: This is the only known
version to me. It comes in a black sleeve with a small sticker affixed to
the front. There are a whole series of similar records put out at about the
same time, including Don't Toss
Your Gob at Me (LP), WNEW FM Broadcast volumes 1 and 2, 1977 Revisited,
Combat Rock Unreleased Version (LP) and This
Is TV Clash (LP). The "Cardiff" material is really from Leicester,
and has been mislabeled as such since the first of many boots, The
Clash: Cardiff July 2-77 (LP) back in 1977. See that entry for the numerous
other versions. The "K.B.F.H. '78" songs are really a King Biscuit
Flour (NOT "Flower") Hour broadast, first released on Police
(and Firemen) on My Back (LP) and The Agora (LP).
