| In the first game against "Slavia" in 1919, "Ticha"s goalkeeper Dr. Kircho Angelov wished for a chair which he used to sit in front of his net, then he lit a pipe and imperturbably read a newspaper! "Ticha" won 3:0. |

| "Before the game with "Slavia" in Sofia the starting player Oncho Haripyan was found in a night club with a glass of wine in his hand! - says Stefan Kirilov, kaptain of "Ticha". - He froze when he saw us! If I'm not the best player tommorow, you may punish me as you wish, said Oncho. At 1:1, a foul was commited about 30m from the Spirov's net - a great "Slavia" keeper! What a strike from Oncho! He put the ball in the top corner and we won 2:1. We saw the spectators burning something! And what was it all about? Fans form Sofia and Varna made a bet in which the loosers would burn their straw hats. |

| The "Ticha" players were travelling to Sofia with a train. In one of the compartments were sitting a man and a woman peasants. One of the players sits next to them, another in front and they both start scraching themselfs. A third one takes a place and yells out: "Get out of here! You'll give us lice!". Only the man and the woman make way towards the door.... |

| During one of the long and boring voyages, the players of "Black Sea" directed their attention towards their coach Ivan Mokanov. Knowing his hate for the tobaco poison (he fined many players because of this sin) they offered him 100 leva (a lot of money back then) if he would have a puff from an imported cigarette. He refused. The amount was doubled. "I wouldn't do it even for a thousand! If you offer me home made wine from my vineyard, with almonds baked by my wife, I would do it without a bet!" |
