Installing a printer in Windows 2000

1. Click Start
2. Scroll up to Settings
3. Select Printers
4. Select "Add printer" this will open the printer wizard click next
5. Select whether the printer is a "local Printer" (attached directly to your computer) or a "network printer" (attached to another computer on the network) and click next
6. Indicate where the printer is located by typing either the "printer name" or its url on the intranet or internet. if you do not have this information you can Find it in the active directory and click next
7. Select whether you want it to be your default printer and click next
8. Click "Finish"

Conglatulations your printer is ready to print.
