I guess I don't
need to define a computer since you're already using one.
To be able to define the Internet I'll start with a Local
Area Network (LAN) which is the
interconnection of computers within the same vicinity eg.
an office or building. Two or more combined LANs
make up a Wide Area Network (WAN).The
internet or the web as its usually known,is an interconnection
of computers over a wide area, making it a WAN,
in this case spanning the whole world. The internet is used
to share information and services among those computers
connected to it eg drivers, application software,news, email,
e-commerce and many more
