HARDWARE
Hardware includes all the tangible parts of a computer. for example monitor/screen, keyboard mouse, CPU (Central Processing Unit),hard disk drives, floppy disk drives etc. Ususally what you see is the monitor/screen,keyboard, mouse and the CPU. The hardware can be divided into three components;

Input devices- These devices are used to enter data and commands into the computer. for example keyboard and mouse.

Output devices-These devices are used to display the results of an operation to the user. for example the monitor.

Processing devices- These are the devices that operate on the inputs,data and commands, and then transfer the results onto the output devices for the user.

Storage devices- These are used to store data and programs in a computer for easy access when required.they may be permanent (hdd) or removable (floppy diskettes,compact disks {CDs}, zip disks).
