Confirm log on to Windows 98
This tweak to your Windows registry displays a confirmaion message after entering your password at the logon window.This is usefull if you'd like to confirm that you've logged on to a certain server and as which user with what privillages.
Note:
This involves editting the registry. Please back up your registry before executing the following steps.
That you need to have a network logon server on the network for this to work otherwise you will not be able to use your computer. for example Windows NT 4.0,2000 serveror a Novell netware server

1. Start
2. Select Run and type regedit and hit Enter
3. In the registry windows select HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
4. Click Network
5. Click Logon
6. In the right window right click and select New then click DWORD Value
7.Type DomainLogonMessage in the name field
doubleclick the new DWORD. in the Value data field enter 1 and click OK
8. Close the registry and restart the computer.
