Connecting to the internet using Internet Explorer

1. Right click the internet explorer icon on the desktop and select properties
2. In the general tab type in the url for your home page (opens whenever you open Internet explorer
3. Select the connections tab
   If you have a dial-up connections you do not need to change anything
4. If you use the Local area network select "Never dial a connection"
5. Select lan settings
6. If you connect direct to the internet select "automatically detect settings"
7. If you use a proxy server Check the "use a proxy server" check box and enter it name or ip and the www port its 80 by default on many proxy servers
8. Select "bypass proxy server for local addresses"
9. Click "ok" and "ok" again to finish
