Connecting to the internet using Opera
Open the browser and then follow the following steps:
- Click "File" and select "Preferences".This opens the properties window
- Select "Network" then in the network window select "Proxy servers" if you're connecting to the internet through the LAN
- Type in the name of the http,https,ftp,gopher and wais proxy servers or the ip address(es) and the respective ports.
- Click "Ok" and apply the new settings.
- You're now ready to surf!!
