Clan It-uile Events Log

This area will hold the logs of the Clan Events. This includes raids, meetings, and other important information.

Upcoming Events:

The next meeting will be (at soonest) in May of 2004 due to a child being expected in the Phoenix's real life. There we shall discuss clan events (if none have happened before it).

No raids are currently planned. Remember, an impromptu raid may occur at any time. Krom should be planning something soon, so keep watching here and the clan board!

Past Events:

20. Saturday, March 20, 2004. Nineth clan meeting. The Aspirant Proposal was discussed, amended, and approved (one vote is still pending). The Masterhealer/Master Healer Proposal was discussed. It was determined that Masterhealer (the office) should change to Master of Ceremonies. This has been approved (two votes are still pending). The statue/rp proposal (to require members to advertise their healing on each log on) was not approved. A clan tease was chosen. Siveke was promoted to Junior Apprentice (or Apprentice, if/when the Aspirant Proposal goes through). If you'd like to read the log of the meeting, you can do so here.

19. Saturday, January 31, 2004. Eighth clan meeting. Krom was elected to Masterhealer. A motto was picked (The greatest rewards come from helping others.) A proposed charter change was brainstormed. This would create a new rank in the clan (Aspirant) for those low-level players who are interested in the clan, but do not yet possess healing powers. This idea will be shared with all the clan, amended further, and voted upon at the March meeting. Finally, Darien was kind enough to remind us that we need a tease for Tasha's piece of glass. Some ideas were given, and it was agreed that we would continue brainstorming. A decision should be made at the March meeting. If you'd like to read the log of the meeting (which I greatly recommend to all members), you can do so here.

18. Friday, June 13, 2003. Seventh clan meeting. Prospective member Cathei was admitted into the clan and there were various promotions (see the promotion log for details). The Clan Charter was discussed at great length. A new outlook on Necromancers was defined, a contest for a clan motto was announced, and it was determined that we would not allow members based purely on 'helping' and not innate healing abilities. Additionally, a few descriptions for rankings were updated. Members were informed that there will be several Tiny Plots going on in the future, and that they should be prepared to be asked to come to Events. No further details were given. It was agreed upon that the entrance/exit to the It-uile Pub should be changed to north/south and new drink ideas were discussed. If you have additional ideas for the pub, they should be directed to Darien. Members were complimented on turning in descriptions and encouraged to share pictures with their clan. Help writing 'help clans' and 'help it-uile' was requested. It was announced that Treefish is redesigning the website. There was no other business. If you would like to read the log of the meeting, you can click here.

17. Saturday, May 24, 2003. The first ever, It-uile Healing Items Scavenger Hunt! Members searched high and low for items all day long, and then met together in the evening for a big old bash! There was a brief meeting, where Browncow, Senae, and Varn were welcomed into the clan and Treefish, Quinn, and Krom recieved promotions. Then there was much partying in the clan pub, for all adventurers of Ragnarok. Finally, it was announced that Quinn was the winner of the scavenger hunt! He chose to make a new drink for the clan pub as his reward. Krom was so close to winning, that he received a consolation prize of 5 free drinks at the clan pub! Way to go, all those who participated! If you'd like to read the log of the meeting and announcement of the winner, you can do so here. If you would like to read the additional information that came with this event, click here.

16. Saturday, May 10, 2003. Sixth clan meeting. During the discussion of membership, two new members were admitted into the clan, and it was agreed that members will use mudmail to discuss prospective members, to decrease wait time. A Tiny Plot (TP) was discussed and planned. All members are invited to the festivities on May 24th, 2003. During this conversation, there were technical difficulties, resulting in a rather unique meeting. Discussion regarding changing the entrance to the clan pub commenced, but the vote was negative. All other business was put on hold until the meeting room could be reserved again, without earthquakes or any other natural disasters. The log of the meeting may be readhere.

15. Monday, April 14, 2003. Suzaku committed most heinous crimes of treason against It-uile and was dismissed from the clan. To read the post on the rp board following the incident, click here (a good summary of what all led to expelling him. To read the log of the expelling, click here.

14. Sunday, April 13, 2003. Fizban and Galadriel held an open meeting of the Court. Several It-uile members were in attendance. Kudos to them for being active members of Ragnarok, not only as clan members, but also as general members of a larger organization. To read the log compiled by Peat, click here. Note: This was NOT a clan event, but it IS something that we encourage ALL players of Ragnarok to attend when available.

13. Wednesday, April 9, 2003. Fifth clan meeting. The need for a clan second was discussed, and then a new member was accepted. Next it was agreed that It-uile is the 'healing' clan, not the 'good' clan, and so we would like to work with Ironfist in the near future to dispell rumors that we are a bunch of goody-two-shoes. The pub's location and the addition of discount cards were discussed. Increasing membership and role-playing were discussed. The need for new help files was discusseed. It was agreed that all members should fill out a soon-to-be-created survey to be added as their description on the website. To read the full log of the meeting, click here.

12. Saturday, March 29, 2003. Pixie, Phoenix of It-uile welcomed Treefish, Acolyte of It-uile back after a long sabbatical from Ragnarok with an impromptu clan event. They searched the realms to release poor, unfortunate souls from the bodies that trapped them in hell on earth. First they avenged the death of the trainer, by killing Meecho, the Man Eating Leopard. Next they tried in vain to rid the world of Jed the Necromancer, but eventually had to give up on that one. Next, they searched out lost souls in the Castle of Tris. They released the trapped souls from their indentured service as ghosts, skeletons, and Vampires.

11. Wednesday, March 26, 2003. Fourth clan meeting. Cleric Sprite, in the absence of both leaders of the clan, began the emergency meeting of It-uile to determine the new leadership of the clan. After a quick vote, it was determined that Pixie would become the new Phoenix. She was quickly promoted and announced her goals of enhancing roleplaying throughout both the clan and the realms, and increasing membership in the clan. All further business was tabled until the April meeting. A summary of the meeting can be found here.

10. Wednesday, March 26, 2003. Cleric Sprite holds a memorial service for Alien in the United Church of Bob. All members of the realms were invited. Sprite and Haelix tried vainly to calm the emotions of the Ironfist members that were present. Several visitors shared stories they had of Alien. The floor was given to It-uile, other clans, and non-clan members alike.

9. Wednesday, March 19, 2003. Phoenix Alien, leader of It-uile is run out of Ragnarok by angry Wizards with pitchforks. Clan-members stand on the side of the road, unable to help their leader. This began a week of questioning by members of the clan. Who will stay? Who will follow their leader? Who will be the new leader of those members left? All of these questions ran through members heads for a week, as the members decided what their reactions would be and what to do.

8. Sunday, February 23, 2003. Third clan meeting. The agenda included prospective members, suggestions to make the clan system better, and planning a clan social event. You may read a summary of the meeting here.

7. Saturday, January 18, 2003. Second clan meeting. The agenda included prospective members, updates for the clan website, and several promotions. You will be able to see the minutes by clicking here.

6. Tuesday, January 14, 2002. Smicer, the Spinner of Lies of the Ironfist Clan, attacked the hall guardians. As far as is known, no members were available to assist the guards, but this was not a problem, seeing as Smicer was twisted into a queasy mess by a hefty guardian of It-uile! Smicer followed the precedent set by his clan leader and left the realm soon after the incident to hide his face for a week or so. The local newspaper, the Ragnarok Rag, said, "Jan 14: Smicer (lvl 34) was executed by A ruthless demon, hired by It-uile." It is also noted that Smicer is the fiancé of a Clan member. It is suspected that he chose to hide out more from her than to protect his reputation.

5. Sunday, December 22, 2002. Gypsie, the leader of the Ironfist Clan, attacked the hall guardians. Pixie, Senior Apprentice of It-uile, provided the guards with healing. After a few unproductive attacks, Gypsie twisted into a battered corpse by a jeering guardian of It-uile. Gypsie recovered his belongings and stalked out of the realms in a huff. Here is what the Ragnarok Rag (the local newspaper) had to say, "Dec 22: Gypsie (lvl 39) was executed by A grimacing fire giant, hired by It-uile."

4. Thursday, December 8, 2002. First clan meeting. The agenda included several promotions, job descriptions being clarified, and the creation of a website. You will be able to see the minutes by clicking here...once they have been dug out of the big stack of files in the meeting room.

3. Alien, Catain, and Aerinn did something having to do with the catacombs in late 2002.

2. Alien and Catain did something having to do with the catacombs in late 2002.

1. Alien and others did something having to do with the air trainer in late 2002.
