Take A Closer Look
Yet even as we are able to capture our physical appearance on canvas, the real persons that we are remain partly hidden. Feelings like joy, excitement, and anger are allpart of being alive and being you.
It is not bad to be mad or moody; everybody gets to have those emotions sometimes. But we should at least know why we are angry and moody. it doesn't mean we love ourselves and others less when we are angry. it is the way we handle our anger that makes all the difference.
A familiar song says, "There's a rainbow after the storm." The rainbow can reflect the world of human experience more accurately when seen in the context of the storm that produced it-a storm with its might, dark clouds, thunder and lightning, lashing wind and pouring rain. during the storms of life, the light eventually produces a rainbow often obscured by the clouds of pain and loss. As the storm clears, the sunlight of hope and joy breaks through and a rainbow is born. Our goal then is to allow that rainbow to emerge in us. This simply means that there is something good that comes out of he hardships that we experience in life if we allow this good to come out. This can be strenght of character, resilience, endurance, or any learning for life.
