Do not conform yourself to this age but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and pleasing and perfect
(Rom 12:2). These words remind us of our calling as true eduactors-- transformed individuals whose priorities are not the things of this world but of the Kingdom.
I am a Child of the Universe
The worktext is intended to help the students understand themselves.
They are born with talents and wisdom that should give them confidence to handle obstacles that may come their way.
The students will be guidedto discover their nature, family roots, gender orientation, uniquenesss, and fundamental rights and duties.
Think kind thoughts, entertain positive feelings, and do caring actions for self, family, and community.
Further advance gender-fair relationships with self, family, the community, and the whole of creation.
Be grateful for and appreciate his/her roots and genuine cultural heritage as a Filipino/Filipina.
Use and foster the use of inclusive language and activities nurturing transformative relationsips.
And advocate equality in uman dignity and rights of boys and girls, men and women at home, in school, and in the larger community as expressed in the language used and b manifesting a sense of responsibility and accountability for personal, communal, and societal transformation.
