Recipes  of the Month~2002
SALLY'S GRILLED BABY BACK  RIBS
This is what grilling is all about...great big juicy slabs of baby back ribs!  They're up there with corn on the cob, Mom's apple pie, and are a great choice for your 4th of July celebration!
JULY 2002
SAUSAGE & PEPPER BREAD
This month's recipe is a well-loved favorite among my family and friends.  Make it to take along to your next gathering and you will be a hero!!  You can also check out the "lighter" version in the
Recipe Make-Over segment.
AUGUST 2002
BEAN SOUP (FASOLATHA)
This is a healthy, hearty choice to warm your hearts and souls.  There is an old Greek saying, "Fasolatha pou trefi tin Ellada", or "The whole of Greece is brought up on bean soup".
SEPTEMBER 2002
PUMPKIN BARS
Making this recipe is very nostalgic for me, as I used to make them for my girls in the autumn after school was back in session and the days were turning cooler.  Treat yourself and your family to some pumpkin bars!!
OCTOBER 2002
GRANDPA'S STEW
The "Grandpa" of this recipe is my father,
Dean Elias.  He often had a pot of this on the stove.  When I would visit and smell the aromas of his wonderful stew permeating the house, I knew I was home again!
NOVEMBER 2002
LAMB WITH BAKED ORZO
This is another hearty winter meal for those cold winter nights.  You can substitute beef for the lamb in this recipe, but don't use the lemon.
