              SPRING SALAD
You will be pleasantly surprised at how well the flavors and textures mingle in this salad.  It excites the palate and is beautiful to look at too.  The ingredients complement each other so well.  You suddenly have created a work of art!
JULY 2000
               FRIED ZUCCHINI
           WITH GARLIC SAUCE
Zucchini is such a versatile vegetable.  You can use it in breads, cakes, salads, casseroles and soups.  You can bake it, steam it, fry it, saute' it or eat it raw.  But when you fry it and serve it with garlic sauce you will think you died and went to heaven!!
AUGUST 2000
    RAISIN NUT PUMPKIN BREAD
Bread is beautiful!  It's so nice to have one or two quick breads in the freezer for those special times when a friend drops in for coffee.  Raisin Nut Pumpkin Bread, especially when served with Orange Honey Butter, is really special!

    SAUSAGE STUFFED ACORN SQUASH
Squash is such a versatile vegetable.  It lends itself well to many seasonings and is ideal for stuffing.  Paired with a nice crisp salad, this recipe is substantial enough to serve as a main dish!

Pumpkin pie is traditional for Thanksgiving, but if you want the ultimate in a pumpkin dessert you just have to try this Pumpkin Mousse Torte!

       CRANBERRY CHEESE PIE
This month's recipe is the perfect dessert to serve at a special holiday gathering.  It  makes a really pretty presentation and it tastes as good as it looks!
