My Recent Adventures
No, I haven't jumped out of my skin yet.

But I am busy changing, growing, and living my life. As such, I am not able to spend much time maintaining this website. So if some of it is out of date or incomplete, I apologize and ask for your understanding.
What takes most of my spare time now is the Center for Responsible Nanotechnology (CRN), a non-profit organization I co-founded with Chris Phoenix in December 2002. The vision of CRN is a world in which nanotechnology is widely used for productive and beneficial purposes, and where malicious uses are limited by effective administration of the technology.

The work I'm doing with CRN is very important, and I'm hoping to make it a full-time occupation someday soon. Currently, we operate on a limited supply of private donations, and it's not enough, unfortunately, for me to quit my day job.

As of November 2003, I still work as a Senior Job Developer with the
Center for Employment Opportunities in New York City. This is a wonderful not-for-profit organization that helps non-violent ex-offenders just out of prison to find and keep steady jobs.

I am also involved with the
transhumanist movement. I'm on the Board of Directors of the World Transhumanist Organization (WTA), working to raise public consciousness about the stunning changes we will all experience as astounding new technologies are developed and adopted.

Drop me a line and let me know what you are up to!
