| Twenty years in California, eleven years in Washington, eleven years in Texas, and (so far) five years in New Jersey. One child, three marriages, ten jobs -- a life on the go! I like to call myself a polymath, which means I have widely varying interests and a fair bit of knowledge in many areas. In the old days someone like me was referred to as "a jack of all trades, master of none". I've also been accused of multi-potentiality, which means there are so many things I could be good at that I've had a hard time choosing where to focus. |
| The loves of my life (in no particular order) are baseball, books, music, Calvin and Hobbes, writing, movies, travel, computers, science, transhumanism, and my extended family. None of these passionate interests has made me a wealthy man, at least not yet. But at this stage in my life, I'm less concerned with financial riches and more interested in caring |
