Mike Treder's Life "In a Nutshell"
Twenty years in California, eleven years in Washington, eleven years in Texas, and (so far) five years in New Jersey. One child, three marriages, ten jobs -- a life on the go!

I like to call myself a polymath, which means I have
widely varying interests and a fair bit of knowledge
in many areas. In the old days someone like me was
referred to as "a jack of all trades, master of none".
I've also been accused of multi-potentiality, which
means there are so many things I could be good at
that I've had a hard time choosing where to focus.
The loves of my life (in no particular order) are
baseball, books, music, Calvin and Hobbes,
     writing, movies, travel, computers, science,
         transhumanism, and my extended family.

None of these passionate interests has
made me a wealthy man, at least
not yet. But at this stage in my life,
                       I'm less concerned with financial
riches and more interested in caring
about others, sharing feelings and ideas, learning, being, and growing. So that's a brief sketch of who I am now. For a more complete life story, click here or select My Biography from the menu on the left.
