The aim of the IGSC is to promote the sports of Gaelic Football and Hurling around the world. The following are policy of the IGSC: 1. To encourage existing clubs to interact and cooperate in terms of development and resources. 2. To encourage existing clubs to set up internet and/or e-mail addresses for ease of communication. 3. To promote the creation of hierarchical structures such as national associations to increase the level of funding and promotion of clubs. 4. To have in place youth development policy whereby the aim is to encourage the local population to take part in the games and to create new clubs. 5. To encourage the use of native language on club websites in places where English is not the first language. 6. To use this web portal as a method of informing people all over the world of existing clubs and structures and how to create their own. 7. To act as a central point through which communication can be made with other clubs in ones region or outside ones region. 8. To publish up to date news on developments of Gaelic Football and Hurling clubs around the world in order to spread ideas and information. Note: The IGSC is an informal amateur unofficial organisation put in place by an interested party in order to foster this much needed action. The IGSC does not have headquarters or members other than the clubs listed here who are involuntary members in that they happen to be clubs playing these sports. The IGSC will accept proposals from interested parties who wish to set it up officially or to create a more professional website. The IGSC and its creator do not accept responsibility for the material presented on this website or on the links that are located here and presents this information with good intention only.
