More than 40 years ago, Arin and Suzy Harrison opened a modest fitness center in Venice Beach, California and began a tradition of commitment, passion and dedication that is now practiced at more than 600 locations across the globe. "We opened Intensity because we wanted to help the neighorhood," Arin said in an interview in 2004. "We heard a bunch of complaints from our friends and neighbors that there was no nearby gyms in the area, and we thought 'Hey, we have experience for this, we can open a gym ourselves!'
