  • We affirm the inseparable oneness of God and man, the realization of which comes through spiritual intuition, the implications of which are that man can reproduce the Divine perfection in his body, emotion and all his external affairs.
  • We affirm the freedom to each person in matters of belief.
  • We affirm God to be supreme, universal and eternal.
  • We affirm that the kingdom of God is within us, that we are one with the Father, that we should love one another and return good for evil.
  • We affirm that we should heal the sick through prayer and that we should endeavor to manifest perfection ”even and our Father in heaven is perfect”.
  • We affirm our belief in God as the Universal Wisdom, Love, Life, Truth, Power, Peace, Beauty and Joy.“  In whom we live and move and have our being.”
  • We affirm that the Divine Nature expressing itself through man manifests itself as health, supply, wisdom, love, life, truth, power, peace, beauty and joy.
  • We affirm that man is an invisible spiritual dweller within a human body continuing and unfolding as a spiritual being beyond the change called physical death.
  • We affirm that the universe is the body of God, spiritual in essence, governed by God through laws that are spiritual in reality even when material in appearance.

INSTITUTE FOR INNER AWARENESS

  

PURPOSE

The Institute For Inner Awareness was formed out of subjective mind of Rev. Dr. Stephanie D. Williams, in May 1999. Our purpose is to bring awareness to our students of the Divinity that is within each of us potentially. By learning about this inner-Self, we become more aware of our Energy, and our destiny, therefore we are able to focus on the true and sole purpose for our existence. The Logo is an Eastern Symbol that represents light or illumination. This is the center of what is called our Intuitive or Third Eye Center. It is the ability to see beyond our physical sense of sight. The candle in the middle of this logo represents the “I” or the I AM. It is the true light or essence of the Universe that is waiting to be acknowledged and recognized by every soul that is awakened to it. When this happens then you are on your way to discovering your Inner Awareness. The Institute incorporates the following subdivisions:

  • Divinity School – This subdivision is for the student who will be engaging in an undergraduate or graduate degree level program and/or who is pursuing the ministry as a pastor or leader of a church or outreach ministry.

  • Inner Light Seminars & Productions – These seminars are conducted bi-monthly on a Friday and help us to explore knowledge from speakers within and without the Institute. This is a mandatory requirement for all students as part of their growth and development and the cost is $20 per seminar in addition to tuition.

  • Personal Enrichment Courses – This is a six month course for the individual who just wants to improve their personal growth and development, build self –esteem or begin on a journey to discovering more of themselves beyond the five senses.

  • Student Counseling – Personal and Group Sessions will be offered to those who need additional help with working through their own issues.

  • Spiritual Mentoring – A personal tutelage for the student who is ready to explore in depth knowledge such as; our ancestors, indigenous cultures, shamanic work, energy balancing, cleansing chakras, Reiki, healing self and others. The cost of the session is $40 per session in addition to tuition.


The purpose of I.I.A. is to:

  • open the awareness of individual into deeper, universal, mythical, mystical, psyche, esoteric truth
  • assist the student to go beyond the basic metaphysical teachings and deeper into the elements of truth
  • aid in teaching the student how to get in touch with acceptance, application, and embodiment of their non-physical reality
  • assist students in teaching others on a personal, social, and global level in all walks of life
  • serve and support the healing process of the soul as it travels through the cosmic web
  • create and maintain an environment conducive to an open exchange of talents, ministries, skills and beliefs
  • serve and support empowerment among students
  • serve as a guided channel for the comprehensive and experiential preparation of students to embark upon their own
  • successful spiritual counseling, ministerial, and practitioner profession.
  • retrieve every fragmented part of the soul as our ancestors intended for us to do
  • bring the soul into proper balance and harmony with the universe
