Anyone from Pinawa can remember Nils Vik and Salad Dressing Records, as well as The Rock Band, an astonishing talent to find on a label so small. Well, since Nils signed these guys, they've been on Much once and Jonovision twice, including a battle of the bands victory. Now signed to Snapdragon Records, The Rock Band is armed with a new CD entitled This Is Revengegetting some love from Freq 107 with its singles Consider Yourself Warned and Crash and Burn and has scored tracks on compilations along with the likes of Our Lady Peace and Finger Eleven that you can pick up at A&B Sound.

The Rock Band's new CD This Is Revenge builds on their first and improves upon it. They've improved as a band, both musically and lyrically, and mix it up a little (yep, just a little - there's a sweet acoustic track called The Prize) Their show at the West End Cultural Centre was a lot of fun, and through meeting them and hanging out for a little while, it makes their music a lot more likeable because they're all good guys and Jay is funny as hell.

Check out Crash and Burn
