Poems Page 1

On this page is a list of poems that have touched my heart.
I have gotten them from different places on the net,
some written by me,Bible Scriptures and some given to me by friends.
I hope you enjoy them!

May the winds of love blow softly
And whisper so you'll hear,
We will always love and miss you
And wish that you were here.

It is not the will of your Father in heaven
that one of these little ones should perish.
Matthew 18:14

Blessed are those who mourn,
for they shall be comforted
Matthew 5:4

"A friend is like a rainbow. They brighten your life when you've been through a storm."

Nothing can ever take away
The love a heart holds dear.
Fond memories linger every day
Remembrance keeps him near.

"DEATH LEAVES A HEARTACHE NO ONE CAN HEAL,
LOVE LEAVES A MEMORY NO ONE CAN STEAL"

Sometimes, when I'm alone and lost
in thought, and all the world seems
to far away, you come to me as if in a dream,
filling my soul with the warmth of
your prescence. And I smile knowing that
though we cannot be together now, wer'e
always close in thought.
By Unknown.

Memory is a lovely lane,
Where hearts are ever true,
A lane I so often travel down,
Because it leads to you.

I sit and wonder every day,
Why the Lord chose to call you away,
I think He saw you needed rest,
He only takes the very best.

Loving you is easy,
We do it every day,
Missing you is a heartache,
That never goes away.

Remember that although in body your loved one is not here,
He will be forever near.
Remeber that although your loved one is not here to hold,
One day soon you will be together walking the streets of gold.
Remember when your saddness seems to much to bear,
and noone seems to understand or care
and you need someone to carry you through
Jesus will the Here..

"Death of a Child"
Sorry I didn't get to stay.
To laugh and run and play.
To be there by your side.
I'm sorry that I had to die.

God sent me down to be with you,
to make your loving heart anew.
To help you look up and see
Both God and little me.

Mommy, I wish I could stay.
Just like I heard you pray.
But, all the angels did cry
when they told little me goodbye.

God didn't take me cause He's mad.
He didn't send me to make you sad.
But to give us both a chance to be
a love so precious .. don't you see?

Up here no trouble do I see
and the pretty angels sing to me.
The streets of gold is where I play
you'll come here too, mommy, someday.

Until the day you join me here,
I'll love you mommy, dear.
Each breeze you feel and see,
brings love and a kiss from me.
