| Wallowa River This Eastern Oregon fishery has some nice size Rainbow Trout Ranging from 8 to 18 inches, with the average 13". Whitefish are abundant and willingly take nymphs. Hwy. 82 follows the river from Minam to at least 8 miles upstream. This area of the river is most fished, with many pullouts where you can park and wade.In the upper reaches of this river there is a decent Brook Trout fishery, with the brookies averaging 12". The lowest area of the river(downstream of Minam) is only accessible via floating. A three-day minimum float to Wildcat creek when fishing. A guide service on this river will show the very best! Prince, Fox Squirrel, and Hare's Ear Nymphs produce all season long. Winter and early Spring offer good Steelhead angling, with the average steelie 3-6 pounds. The Steelhead season last from Jan.1 - April 15. |

| Big Sheep Creek A lightly fished tributary of the Imnaha river. Big Sheep supports great populations of wild rainbow and bull trout, although bull trout must not be targeted, and if caught released unharmed.Theres lots of private property along this creek, so make sure you ask permission. Trout average 9-12 inches, and angling is best from August until October. There are no campsites in the vicinity. |

| Barth Quarry Pond This Half acre lightly fished pond is worth the visit. Crappie and largemouth bass to 3 pounds are habitants of this pond. With a rock cliff on one side and brush on another a float tube will do you well here. Fish up along brush and the cliff. |

| Cutsforth Ponds Two small trout ponds in the Umatilla National Forest. The ponds a located in Cutsforth Park, and are about a half-acre in size. The two ponds are connected by a channel. Stocked with legal trout in late spring the fishing holds up all season long. There is a dock, and is wheelchair accessible, camping is permitted. Reccomended for kids. |
