OUR DOGS - The Boys
(All available for stud - ask for details)
Mijo, born 9/14/06 black blocking yellow/red and white long hair Chihuahua, 5 pounds CKC registered
His name is pronounced Meeho, and it is a term of endearment in Spanish meaning something like My Darling Boy, because he is such a sweet boy.  It isnt fair to have a favorite among your children, but I cant help it.  Mijo is my favorite boy.  He is friendly with strangers, he doesnt bark much, and nothing much phases him.  He is very affectionate and while he has a favorite person, he will be just as devoted to the second in command if his favorite isnt home.  His sister was a beautiful silver color, but we have determined he does not likely carry that color.  His long coat is soft and full, but not overly silky.  He has perfect form as far as we are concerned small but not too small, big eyes but not buggy eyes, an apple head but not so extreme.  He had a molera when we adopted him at 5 months, but it closed completely between 6 and 12 months of age.  His personality and good looks have proven to be very inheritable.  We will be neutering him sooner or later - he refuses to eat when one of the girls is in heat and we don't want to lose him..
Dibgy, born 6/7/07 black and tan tri-color merle long hair Chihuahua, 5 pounds, CKC registered
Digby came from a breeder in Florida.  We named him before he arrived, and funnily enough he has lived up to his name.  He digs at the blankets every night before he will lay down to sleep.  Digby does prefer Jason as far as having a favorite person, but it took him much longer to develop that bond than Mijo.  I think his personality could easily split his attention between multiple people if we had raised him that way.  Digby is the most wary of strangers of all of our dogs.  He also has excellent conformation, except his one ear that doesn't always stand up.  His long coat is very full and silky since we changed to my dog shampoo.  He was born with a molera, but it closed by the time he was 7 months old.  Digby is very sweet now, but he went through a period in his terrible teens where he picked on his doggy siblings and refused to listen to people.  He outgrew it at about 6 months and is such a doll now.  Although he loves being outside and is still the last to come in.  He is also a big jerk when one of the girls is in heat, very possessive.  He seems to apologize when it is over.
Gonzo, born 2/8/08 Blue and tan long hair Chihuahua, 3.5 pounds expected adult weight, dual AKC and CKC registered
Gonzo came from a breeder in north Wisconsin.  He is a tiny little guy, but we needed a tiny guy so Cricket could have puppies safely.  He has a significant molera, but it is more just that his head is so tiny, it doesn't take much to seem bad.  He is very sweet - he is happy to be held, all day if you wanted.  He follows us around.  He is very playful and funny.  He sticks up for himself despite his small size.  We named him Gonzo because much like the Muppet of the same name, no one is really sure what he is.
