| QUESTIONS � We are happy to answer all questions (related to the dogs anyway!), and we do not assume you want to buy from us simply because you contact us. We understand that finding the right companion for your family can require a very specific animal, and that after getting more details, it may end up that our puppy does not suit your needs. We are not out to make a quick sale. We will not pressure you in any way just because you contact us. But because we are so open about questions, we have a very strict hold policy. PRODUCT PURCHASE - If you wish to order a bed, tug toy, belly band, or scented bath product, please drop me an email as to which product you want, your color/pattern or scent preference and I will respond quickly with availability and leadtime and total price if you will need shipping. Shipping is made via USPS Priority service unless otherwise requested. See Payment Methods below for those payment types that we take. HOLD � We will put a puppy on hold at your specific request only. If you inquire about a puppy without asking for a hold, that puppy will remain available to the first person who asks to put it on hold. In other words, don�t assume the puppy is yours just because you asked about it first. After requesting a hold, you have 24 hours to notify us that you are making a deposit, and by what method. If you do not notify us of your pending deposit in that time frame, we will release the hold and the puppy will again be available to the next person to request a hold. If someone else has a hold on a puppy you want, you can request to be the next in line if the hold is released. DEPOSIT � The deposit is due in our hands within 5 days of the hold request. If we do not receive the deposit in this time frame, the puppy will be taken off hold as described above and made generally available again. A deposit of $100 will hold a puppy until it is old enough to go home (or until final payment and pickup can be arranged if already old enough to go). The deposit amount counts toward the total price of the puppy. Deposits and other payments are only refunded if health issues arise in the puppy before he/she goes home with you or if shipment was assumed but can�t be arranged due to long transit times. Deposits will not be returned under any other circumstances. Deposits may be transferred to other puppies, though. Please see the deposit contract. FINAL PAYMENT � Is the advertised purchase price of the puppy less the deposit amount, and it is due 5 days prior to shipment date if you are having the puppy shipped. You may bring your payment with you if you are picking up in person. Puppies being picked up in person may go home at 8 weeks of age at the earliest. If we are required to keep your puppy for you beyond when we feel it is old enough for the method of going home (8 weeks pickup, 12 weeks shipping), we will charge $5 per day that we provide care. PAYMENT METHODS - We accept the following forms of payment: - Cash - Cashier�s check - Money Order (no Traveler�s Express or Walmart brand � Postal preferred) - PayPal (must pay additional 3% surcharge) PUPPY SHIPPING: Puppies must be 10-12 weeks of age to be shipped, depending on size. Shipping is an additional $250, and may not be available to places where the puppy will be in transit for longer than 7 hours from O�Hare airport using Continental�s PetSafe program. More than 7 hours is too long for a puppy who weighs less than 3 pounds to be couped up and scared. If your puppy exceeds 3 pounds at time of shipment, 10 hours is the time limit. UPDATES: If you are putting a deposit on a puppy that isn�t ready to go home yet, we will send you pictures every week to keep you updated on your puppy�s progress. If you are local, you are welcome to visit once a week or as you are able � just be sure to call us first so we are home when you want to drop by. WAITING LISTS: We do maintain a waiting list in between litters. If you wish to be notified when the next litter is born, please email me and I will add you to the list. Picks of the litter (after any we choose to keep) will be granted in waiting list order, with holds and deposits according to the rules above. We will not take deposits on unborn puppies, as we have no way of knowing how many puppies will be born of which genders and most people have a preferred gender at a minimum. You do not have to buy a puppy just because you are on the waiting list. We understand that the litter may not contain the color/gender combination you were hoping for. Being on the waiting list merely means you will be notified and have the opportunity to pick a puppy if you choose to. We look forward to hearing from you!
