Project 01: xxxHoLiC Episodes 22 and 23

Sumeria and I decided that our friend Amy should be able to watch the end of xxxHoLiC for her birthday. That's really the long and short of this one. Song lyrics will be added after I have finished subtitling Shounen Onmyouji. Project 02: Code Geass Episode 24-25 Status: Download Here The fansub group Sumeria was following for this series pulled their stuff after the license got picked up, so she requested the season-end special. Due to the time crunch of the release schedule that I'd decided to follow for Shounen Onmyouji, I told her that I'd do what I could in one day. And oh boy what a day that was. Not only was the file a double episode, but there were two new songs to translate, the dialogue density is close to 1.5 times as many lines per minute as Shounen Onmyouji, people tend to talk must faster in general, and I had to convert the audio and mess with the video so they line up in my output. But I did it. This file has not been edited for spelling, or checked for anything but the subtitles making sense in context and lining up with the proper person speaking. There were enough lines I was unable to make out to my satisfaction that I would call this a rather loose translation rather than something that corresponds literally. All but a few of those moments, however, should be in the heat of battle, where a bit of poetic interpretation isn't going to hurt the plot. I probably won't have time to do real editing anywhere in the forseeable future, but if you want it, have at. Lyrics for the openings and endings will, like xxxHoLiC, be posted when I'm done with Shounen Onmyouji. |
