This page is dedicated to my husband, Teddy. He has enriched my life so much and inspired me to become a better person.
The Flume Trail is a famous, gorgeous, and precipitous mountain biking trail in Nevada, now connected with the Tahoe Rim Trail. It climbs a thousand feet into the backcountry overlooking Lake Tahoe, with views of both Lake Tahoe and Marlette Lake. This trail is rated to have an "intermediate" technical level and an "advanced" strenuous level - not recommended if you're afraid of heights!

Disneyland has a way of bringing out the little kids in us. Aside from riding the roller coasters, of course, we love checking out the hats at the Mad Hatter's Shop and having water fights at the squirting water fountain in Tomorrowland.

Big Sur is one of the most beautiful places in the world. Wild icy-blue waters crash against towering cliffs. Our favorite campsite is the Andrew Molera State Park, which is still relatively undeveloped and campers have to hike from the parking lot to claim a spot by the sea.

Although he swears that I come in first, Teddy's other love is his Mustang. In his spare time, Teddy races with the NorCal Shelby Club. These races are not formal competitions, but a bunch of grown-up kids who want to drive their cars around a track really fast. There are minimum requirements, of course, such as fire extinguishers, roll-cages, helmets and fire suits, but mostly, everyone is there just to have a good time. Sometimes, I even ride along!

This photo was taken at Thunderhill, a track in Northern California that the SCCA (Sports Cars Club of America) raised money for and built themselves. Teddy also enjoys driving at Laguna Seca in Monterey, Sears Point in Sonoma, and Willow Springs.

This is a silly photo taken in Teddy's room. When Biore came out, I really wanted to try it because I constantly have this horrible mess of clogged pores on my nose. Yet, I couldn't bring myself to spend $10 on a couple of strips of lotion-soaked bandages. So, Teddy came up with the idea that we put strips of duct tape across our noses. That's where this photo came from.

Every so often, Teddy and I are in the mood for some authentic clam chowder and fresh Pacific raw oysters at the Fisherman's Wharf in Monterey.
