I have always had a fondness for this word. I first decided to use this word for the name of my Dir en grey fansite, then aptly used it as the name for my Dir en grey discussion community. While there is obviously no link between my Dir en grey projects and the Ikichi guild, I found a word with dual meaning of 'lifeblood' and 'freshblood' fitting for a cool guild name. XD

I started the Ikichi guild in 2006 with the help of future guildmates for funding. I have since expanded the guild several times over thanks to item and meso donations from our wounderful members. My hope is to see the guild filled with people who will remain with us indefinately.

The reason I have put this little page together is to make an easy place for guildmates to refer to on the guild rules, ranking guidlines and how to contact myself and JRS. It's so freakin' hard to write in the guild BBS with the limited writing space and minimal commenting abilities. So, I put this together and set up a forum, all of which I think will serve us better. ^_^

Thank you to all the guildmates and JRS who make Ikichi such a friendly, fun and helpful group of friends to talk to and hang out with. You're fantastic and you make MapleStory even more addicting. ^_^
