ISU holds a White Tent Event at the beginning of each semester. It is a major recruitment event for all University Student Organizations.

California Girl Jam *
Girl Jam, USA is an organization that holds workshops targeted to women dancers. Of course, what would the girls be without the guys?
This year's workshop includes classes in Tap, Hip-Hop, Charleston, Lindyhop, and Balboa, and features Dawn Hampton, Jojo Jackson, Corina Acosta, Alicia Milo, Peppa (Hip-Hop instructor) and Claudia Gomez Vorce (Tap instructor). This year will also include a California Guy Jam event for the guy dancers!
There will also be the FIRST International Girl Jam Championships! This is a competition for female dance troupes.
We are hoping to have a group of local dancers to attend this huge event.
